A friendly warning on how addictive Second Life can be

Hi to all you reader of Virtual to Reality,

I guess someone may need to warn all of you that have not tried Second Life just how addictive that world can become. I certainly did not plan on spending a huge amount of time in Second life, but I am spending most of my free time and even more inside that Virtual World.

There is so much to do, and it grows everyday. A citizen of Second Life can do most anything their heart may desire, from walking through a fairy land to fishing, sky diving, climbing a rock wall, or even sex. Anything from communities where you can have sex with anyone you meet or join in on an act that is taking place to building a relationship with someone and truly making love with them.

I have met a very special personality in Second life and am building a relationship with that very special someone. I have devoted my time to her and think I have really fallen for her charms. Yet, just as in real life, everything is not always a bed of roses, but to have such beauty, I guess the few thorns aren’t too high of a price to pay.

It is the time factor which may be a concern for you. Second Life can consume a lot of your time. I am trying to keep a blog on my love life in Second Life and I am behind on keeping it up because I am spending so much time living it. Yes, living it, is correct there is just no other way to say it. My heart actually picks up its pace when I get an IM from her! When I catch sight of her, it skips a beat or two, and I never want to leave her presence.

I realize many of you may be laughing at me now, but I am simply trying to be honest with you. Second Life is wonderful, but it can eat your time! Do I think it is worthwhile? YES!! Worth every second I spend there. Do I suggest you try Second Life? Well now that I have warned you about the time factor, yes because it can change your life.
