browse websites inside Second Life
Instructions here:

On Windows, the file to edit is

C:Documents and SettingsUsernameApplication Data   SecondLifeuser_settingssettings.ini

Add the following line (all on one line with space between word and URL):

HtmlHelpHomePage http://sl.nanoshock.net/gateway/

The URL above is a gateway page created by Velox Severine. It provides you with a text field in which you can enter any URL you like, then redirects the browser to your desired page. You’ll need to restart Second Life if it’s running before these changes take effect.

Drawbacks? No cookies and limited Flash support. It’s a start. To launch press F1 and then click on “home” to see the gateway page.
