Finally, my introduction!

Well this blog entry has been some time in coming, but finally I am able to get to my first post & introduction. First off, I am known in SL as jvastine Nephilim. I am relatively new to SL as I have only been in-world since the first week of January of this year.

Since I am not a gamer, I became curious about the technological aspects of this virtual world. After entering this new world, it does not take one to realize that SL is not a game. It is a virtual canvas that allows you to paint and create anything that you can imagine or fulfill any fantasy or dream that you may have.

My primary interest in SL at the moment is to research what viable real world business opportunities exist with a virtual world. It is my plan to be a regular VTOR contributor and chronicle my findings here, plus share with you my struggles and triumphs as I carve out my new business venture within this virtual landscape. I do hope that you join me and my colleagues as we boldly set forth upon our journey to establish our entrepreneurial dreams and visions within this vast new landscape … a virtual frontier that stands before us!
