Flickr’s NIPSA stands for Not In Public Site Areas and applies to screenshots taken from not Second Life and other non-photographic content. Wired has the details:

Uploading those types of images is fine, explained Flickr co-founder Stewart Butterfield. But when more than half of an account holder’s images are screenshots or other NIPSA content, the images generally will not show up in global search results. “The rationale is that when people do a global search on Flickr, they want to find photos,” Butterfield said.

In other words, don’t bother using Flickr and risk your account being marked NIPSA. Fortunately, there are a couple solutions, with Snapzilla being one of them.
