Getting VTOR to appear on Technorati

Here are the steps I’m taking to try and get VTOR post to appear in Technorati:

• made the document type template changes recommened in this thread
• successfully claimed the blog in Technorati
• made sure the Pingshot function of Feedburner was activated to automatically notify the various ping services (see screenshot below). We are also set inside Pingshot to ping pingomatic, which is (?) pinging Technorati too. It’s a double dose of Technorati pinging action.

If anybody in our group or reading has additional suggestions/ideas to get this blog listed, I’m all ears. I’ll continue to update this thread with more bullets as more things are done in our attempt to get posts to show up there.

Update 9:39am SL time: Hey, the changes above worked out pretty good. We were listed at Technorati within 15 minutes and they are already sending traffic (see below). Thank you!
