Click to see more posts by TD GoodliffeHow to link together multiple prims

From the Second Life forums, Miriel Enfied writes:

Right click on the first prim (object) you want to link up, and select edit. It should start to glow yellow. Then, with shift down, click on all the other prims you want to link it to. They should also start to glow yellow. If you want to unselect one, just click it again (with Shift down). Then go up to … “Tools” and select “Link” from the drop down menu (hitting Control-L should also work, I think). All the prims you selected — except for the last one you clicked, which will stay yellow — should start to glow blue. That last prim is called the parent prim.

This technique is important to learn for builders and scripters alike.
