llHTTPRequest available in SL 1.9.1.14 Preview
SL scripters: A much awaited and anticipated scripting (LSL) feature inside Second Life: llHTTPRequest is now available in the 1.9.1.14 Preview version of SL. This means that if all goes well within a couple weeks this should be rolled out and available to all scripts across the entire grid. Excellent news!
I’m downloading now. If your SL born date is at least 30 days old then you can check it out too. llHTTPRequest was originally discussed and explained in this past VTOR post.
More 1.9.1 features announced in the forum post:

classified users.
