More SS group bloggers join VTOR

Today on show #271 of the Script School Radio show I announced the plan for VTOR and how our group can get involved here on this blog and with their own business plans both inside Second Life and on their own blogs.

The plan is for this blog to pay a pivotal role for all of us in sharing our notes, hints, tips and tricks for business owners looking to expand into the SL universe. We also discovered that BlogCharm doesn’t allow any adult content so when we will have to keep this blog rated PG, or perhaps rated R, but certainly not X. That should present an interesting challenge to those in the group who are establishing adult businesses as to how they can write about and share their experiences here. I told them to just make it softcore and they should be ok. Pictures of group members are ok, just not pictures of, er, members members.

We also discussed the affiliate program at SL Exchange (picured above). This enables people in the group to write about items for sale at SL Exchange (which is linked to the right home page of VTOR) and earn a referral commission if other SL citizens buy through these links. I’ve encouraged the group members whenever they link up or display items in their posts to make sure they add their SL Exchange affiliate link.
