A rumor from Gnomedex here in Seattle that former Microsoft Evangelist Robert Scoble has allegedly been booted/banned for allowing his minor son Patrick to use his SL account, via TinyScreenfuls:

This just in: a little bird told me that Robert Scoble is getting a talking to from some Linden Labs folks who are here at Gnomedex for violating their policies, and letting his 12 year old son Patrick use his Second Life account … Apparently, he’s been booted/banned for this violation.

Get Patrick on the teen grid, Robert. I’m sure Scoble will work this one out with Linden Labs.

Update July 1 12:31pm PST: Scoble confirms that the rumor is true. He also forfeited his $100 USD worth of items purchased because of the ban, and that he doesn’t like how his son can’t send him the things he would design on the teen grid and transfer to him. I can see there being a no adult grid to teen grid transfers, but teens can’t create stuff and send it to the main grid? Why not?
