Second Life Newspaper - Read all about it!
metaversemessenger.comWhile tooling around the popular places “find” in SecondLife I finally decided to go to IceDragons Playpen to see what that was all about. I have been reluctant to follow the rest of the world in visiting ‘popular places’. After a bit of exploring I discovered a newspaper vending box. In it I found The second edition of The Metaverse Messenger, published 3/14/06.
This should definately be on your reading list of goings on in SL! This newspaper is packed with some incredible content and is very well put together. Inside it you will find:
- Articles on Politics
- Commentaries
- Resident of the Week
- Lists of upcomming events
- Sim of the week feature
- Fashion articles
- Arts, and education articles
- M2’s Eagle Eye Photo Contest
The photo contest gives you a change to win L$5000 by guessing the correct location in SL that the photo was taken. If there are no correct guesses by the given line, the pot is rolled over in to the next weeks winnings!
I haven’t seen any of these newspaper vending boxes around too much (I don’t get out too often). But there are several at IceDragons Playpen.
