Jeska Linden just posted the following across the entire SL world:

Congrats on the 200,000 active users. Now what do they consider “active?” Does this mean has logged in within the last ___ period of time? How many of those are premium (paid) accounts and how many are free? How many are alternate accounts?

Still a long ways from WoW which boasts over six million paid players, but it’s a start. In a recent audio interview I believe that it was Phillip Linden who suggested SL would be over one million (active?) accounts within a year. 200k down, 800k to go.
