The planning has begun for the third birthday of Second Life with resident party organizer, Tateru Nino, according to a forum post (registration required) by that watermelony Linden, Torley:

We plan on organizing a completely interactive space for experiencing many different artforms. With some inspiration from the surrealistic Dali paintings, we would like to create an innovative collaborative space. The goal is to offer a broad overview of all the artistic efforts present in SL so far, from sculptures, to real life art exhibited in SL, to outstanding machinima installations, artistic SL snapshots, and much more.

They are looking for artists, LSL scripters, machinima and more. Eric Rice and company, are you listening?
