Selling your first item at slexchange and slboutique
Today was a historic day in my Second Life business experience: I listed my TD Dice Cube v0.4 game on slexchange.com and at slboutique.com. The process was straightforward, but I’ll outline here for other VTOR group members and interested readers.
SLexchange.com
You need to get your hands on this L$0 magic white, blue or black box and rez it on your land. Then right click on the magic box you drag your item to the magic box content area. Visit the slexchange.com add new item menu, describe the item, add a price and (optional) pictures. I’d recommend adding pictures especially since it doesn’t cost anything extra. You can then choose to pay extra and get a better listing spot or highted entry. To be highlighted on the homepage costs L$1599 for 30 days. L$999 will get your item featured in the category you chosen L$299 will get it highlighted within the category and $99 will bold the listing for 30 days. I chose the L$299 option. You can choose a normal listing for no additional cost.
After selecting “update item” your item should now be live and listed.
SLboutique.com
Listing an item here works similarly to slboutique. Via your account menu once logged into slboutique acquire and rez the slboutique vendor kit. Drag your item to be sold into the contents areas of the vendor kit by right clicking and choosing edit. Visit slboutique and describe your item, add price and add (optional) pictures.
Happy selling to you!
