VGI Casinos now have a relationship with SL Public radio. I was a bit curious about this whole thing works. I’m still not quite sure of the manpower and technology behind the scenes.

There is a playlist that can be viewed on the web. The main page can be accessed at slpublicradio.org. The pages fill you in on live events that any of the DJ’s may be taking requests from. An interesting form of radio. I haven’t turned on streaming music up until I heard this. I prefer to hear the sounds of the world. But for the the night life it adds to the ambiance.

Club Night Paws in Furnation

The night I tuned in, DJ Blue Irvine was spinning CD’s for an event in [SLURL]Furnation. She was taking IM’s and requests for any music, if she had it available. Not only did she mix up some pretty great tunes but she provided some entertainment herself!

An interesting fact I learned while speaking with her is that the DJ’s at SL Public Radio work for free.

So please remember to tip your DJ’s at any Public Radio event!
