TD Dice Cube v0.1 released, v0.2 in development
I haven’t had much in the way of exploring time for SL lately, although I did attend my first virtual wedding, created and sold my first SL game. A couple SL business owners have bought the TD Dice Cube game (pictured below):

Using Photoshop I created the six textures that make up the dice design. The dice spins and whirls around in multiple directions automatically. It is only 1 prim and uses no listens, so it’s low prim and low lag. Perfect for the club or casino owner who doesn’t need any more laggy games, but would like something they can put in that their patrons might find fun to play.
What does TD Dice Cube do?
- run a game for visitors to your property where they pay to roll for the highest roll. The highest roller at the end of the time takes home the pot. The winner does not have to be present or even logged into SL to win.
- owners can configure the amount of time the game runs and the starting pot amount (minimum $1L).
- a 5% commission applies to the owner profit to be used for further development. This will cover free upgrades through version 1.xxxx (meaning no upgrade fees until version 2.0 or higher). I’m already working on version 0.2 and have some plans mapped for v0.3.
- dice shape and color can be altered, so red dice, green dice or ___ dice color and mini to gigantic dice possibilities are all possible.
I’m working on a store with a holoviewer for automated sales and should have that ready by version 0.2 or 0.3. Also plan to be listing in the SL Exchange and SL Boutique. In the meantime if anybody reading this would like to buy the TD Dice Game you can just IM me through SL — I’m TD Goodliffe — for a personal demonstration.
TD Dice Cube v0.1 costs $500L for 1 prim, no copy, 5% commission version.
You can visit Lestat’s VGI Casino in Mud (SLurl) for a live working version and to try playing. Please tell him I sent you over.
