I screwed up yesterday during our weekly radio show in dividing up the Blogcharm income among the participating VTOR authors. The plan was to divide the income but what actually happened is we didn’t get to it. So here I am in this blog entry making amends.

Readers might wonder why we’re doing this here out in the opening. We planned to be transparent about our business plans inside the MMO space including Second Life and this blog has to do with that. So what did the VTOR blog generate in revenue during the month of March 2006?

It was actually just under $1.00 USD, but to keep the numbers straight I’m going to call it $1USD and split that buck up this way.

March 2006 total number of BC posts by VTOR authors: 66

TD Goodliffe: 33 = 50% = 0.50 USD = L$148
Lestat: 20 =  31% = 0.20 USD = L$92
JohnnyRS: 8 = 13% = 0.08 USD = L$39
WeirdHarold : 2 = 3% = 0.03 USD = L$9
*jvastine: 1 = 3% = 0.03 USD = L$9

$Linden dollar conversion based on L$296 per $1USD which the numbers were rounded up to L$297 actually paid out.

Some of the math is a little fuzzy but I basically added an extra % to Lestat, JohnnyRS, Weirdharold and jvastine. Two percent points for jvastine who left a really long and helpful comment. Helpful comments do make a difference in the blog. Each of these members were sent an IM explaining what the payment was and that this breakdown appeared here on the VTOR blog.

There is no reason these numbers can’t be completely different in April. I’m looking forward to some great VTOR author posts this month. There already have been some really good ones. Let’s shoot for, well, at least $2USD in April.

And thank you to those who read and/or subscribe to VTOR.
