Heck, Microsoft pays others (in software & games which they 1099 you for) to beta test their stuff all the time. As for what K$10,000 buys? I checked around the mall. The realtor sells a theater or dance bar deed for K$5,000. It’s more like “pay you to stress test” which isn’t altogether an uncommon thing in the MMO space, Rik.
