Archlord no monthly fees since August

Add Archlord from Codemasters to the growing list of MMORPG not charging monthly fees to play:

Archlord is also a free download so you can literally check this MMORPG out for free. How are they making money? Because: “ArchLord is a micro-transaction game, a game where players can buy Chantra credits and use these to purchase additional in-game consumable enhancements.”

Micropayments! This is a huge business that both Darius and I have pointed out before. While World of Warcraft can command monthly subscription fees and charge for the game many other MMORPG can’t.
