Are you going to BlizzCon 2007?

My 17 year old son, the WoW gamer in our house asked me about going to BlizzCon 2007 this morning.

BlizzCon 2007 runs August 3 and 4 (Friday, Saturday) in Anaheim, California. Tickets are $100 each person for the convention and for Blizzard fans it looks like the place to be at the beginning of August:

BlizzCon is a celebration of the Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo franchises and the players who have helped make them so popular around the world. Gamers from all over the world come together to enjoy many fun activities and to learn more about Blizzard’s products.

Blizzard said they sold over half the available tickets in the first 24 hours, so the option whether or not to go needs to be answered fast. I’m sure there will be some juicy new info on the upcoming Starcraft II game.

I’ve been to lots of conventions over the years but if we pull the trigger this would be my first MMORPG convention. I guess some of the people dress up at these events? Any VTOR readers or fellow authors going to be at BlizzCon 2007?
