Three days is all it took.  Seventy two hours….of staring at a monitor.  Then… kaput.   The guy keeled over.

Remember when I said that the Asians must be doing something right?  Here’s an obvious case of it.   So far, there’s been minimal casualties but for the most part, it’s always been concentrated in Asia.  Usually a MMO game was involved.  Having seen many of the MMO games released there, it’s a wonder that anyone can tear themselves away to eat, drink, or sleep.  Although, I’m not certain how this guy didn’t manage to pass out on his keyboard from exhaustion before just keeling over.

This also is a reason why the Chinese government will soon be imposing restrictions on the amount of  gaming minors can play.

Makes you wonder about HiPiHi, China’s answer to Second Life.  Could it be so awesome, so fascinating, that people will forego nourishment and sleep?  Maybe so.

So word of warning.  No matter how wonderful your virtual world is, you really still need to exit out every so often and catch a few winks and eat some cold pizza, before going back in.  And no, an IV drip doesn’t count!

Ah, yet another victim of gaming ;) . Soon gaming is gonna become cause of death number 1 in this world, it’s still surprising to see though that most deaths occur not at home but in internet cafe’s.

Are those places opened 24/7 without any restriction on usage or something? Here internet cafe’s close over night and if you’d be sitting there for a long time they sometimes already come asking whether you shouldn’t get something to eat or so for a change.
