Forget those old, played out MTV videos, how about VirtualTV using legally acquired music too. This is possible with a free online service called Fliptrack. There were some bugs in the upload process the past couple days but this morning upon urging from their support I tried uploading my creation again and it’s available below. I noticed in the preview it took a little while for the video to fully load. Fortunately you can move the slider back to the beginning after it loads to 100%.

This is another way like using slide (see recent post on NOAA) to creatively combine a lot of pictures and some legally licensed music. Will let my creation above speak for itself but I thought “Two Tickets to Paradise” was a fitting song.

The music is not performed by the original artists and works similar to how Guitar Heros has been using music from popular artists. Professional artists are covering the music. The singer in “Two Tickets” is clearly not Eddie Money, but I like the concept and it’s an easy way to share your virtual or real world travels with friends. You can also mark videos “private” if you like.
