EvansMom is Twittering …. Help Me! Help Me!
Curse you, T.D. Goodliffe!
Second Life has already taken over an unhealthy segment of my real life, but at least my IM client was my own, populated only by people I really wanted to hear from. Then you posted about Tweet Scan in such an enticing way that I just had to add it. And now, not five minutes goes by where my Adium IM client icon (lets me run multiple Yahoo IM accounts, AOL and ICQ in one interface) isn’t waving its little wings at me to let me know that another tweet is waiting for me. (In the time it took me to write that graf, I’ve gotten 4 more tweets, all of them worth reading).
On the positive side, I’ve met, in a virtual kind of way, some really fascinating fellow residents, like Malburns Writer and Tynan Clary. And through Tynan I found the Twitteritas group of female Twitterites. Now all I have to do is figure out exactly what Twitter is all about and I’ll be good.
And, many of the tweets (AKA the message or post) have pointed me to places I never would have found on my own. Which mean, of course, that I’m spending even more time in SL than ever. Ah well. As long as everybody has at least one pair of clean underwear and something to eat, and the dust bunnies don’t get larger than the average rat, I figure I’ve done my job for the day.
