ARC skeleton

It’s been a few weeks since Ollie Kubrick took me on a tour of the ARC (automotive research centre) and I thought I should go and check that nothing substantial had changed since my visit, before writing this post.

On arrival at the ARC sim the most obvious change was an enormous sculpty skeleton, which is fantastically impressive. Ollie has been working on unlocking the secret of sculpties, and the evidence that he has is in this model. The skeleton joins a gallery of characters created with and without sculpties by Ollie.

On my previous visit, Ollie had proved to me that his vehicles work better than any other I have ever used in SL, and the range of vehicles seems to be growing all the time. The rather surreal bookcase to one side of the gallery gives you the opportunity to compare the various vehicles on offer.

With places to explore, a game to play, trial vehicles to use and some very interesting builds to find and look at, the sim is very much worth a visit.
