150px-kzlboxart.jpg So what have I been up to lately? Obviously it’s not Second Life…. no, SL has been taking a beating and after trying to login for the second time today and seeing that the grid was offline for whatever the hell reason/excuse/bug it is this time, I basically went… “POO ON YOU!” and went on my merry way.

It’s really interesting since the gambling ban really brought new registrations to a stand still and with the latest financial sector fiascos, you would think that the grid stability would be the “last” thing that was going wrong with less traffic going on.

In any case, didn’t bug me any since I’ve been the whipping boy for my PSP. Yes, my PSP whips me. A lot. And I like it. (No, this isn’t an offer for Gors to come a-posting).

Recently, my game of choice has been Killzone: Liberation. Not because it’s a great game, but because of the online factor. The downloadable patch online factor. I found that to be one of the coolest things ever for the PSP, and it gives a whole new meaning to online play with a portable device. And I literally spend hours… in battles as a ISA or Helghast member. The storyline itself happens about two months after Killzone occurs, but if you’re playing online, you won’t care. Unfortunately, there are some bad apples that like to create a bad environment for the rest of the players. Yes, this game has some hackers, and while they’re few and far between, they exist. One happens to be KS-Hacker (go figure on the name eh?) and there’s a couple others around. Not exactly sure what the point is for hacking KZ:L since it’s not exactly that difficult of a game to manage. Guess some people have personal inadequacies, eh?

So if you’re taking a break from Second Life, and want to take a crack at a portable MMO, Killzone: Liberation may be your answer to some good clean shooting fun. Unless you’re going to be a pansy and play Mario Kart for DS. Then I can’t help you with that problem until I break out my DS Lite.
