The Sundance channel showing of “Four Eyed Monsters” was one of those I might not have found if I didn’t read a post about it. I am glad I did and attended this unique event. Before the movie was shown I checked out the Sundance Channel Sim and found other people waiting around for the movie to start. I counted 22 people in the theater chatting with hours to go until the movie started. I went off to do some other stuff and made sure I would be reminded about this event. We also posted a video on our video podcast inviting our subscriber base to join second life and attend the screening. It was our first attempt at doing machinema and was a lot of fun as filmmakers using second life to make a video. You can see that here:

This event is exactly the stuff I love about Second Life. I am going to try to attend this event. I like the fact they have other venues to show it at just in case it gets busy. I actually am watching the preview now and there is a good crowd just waiting around. There’s about 22 people in the theater sitting and chatting. It’s kind of cool.
