One Man’s Opinion

I went to Muse Isle where I was able to have the pure pleasure of hearing some of the sweetest blues I believe I have ever heard. The performer which I am writing about goes by the name Kelvinblue Oh, and Kelvin performs the blues a bit differently than I have ever heard the blues vibrate the air!

Kelvinblue, Composer, Guitarist and Vocalist, has a style unique to himself. (at least to the best of my knowledge) A Houston, Texas native, Kelvin spent a lot of time in South Louisiana where there are primarily two major types of music… Blues and Zydeco. Kelvin has masterfully combined the two to perform his own style in such a way I find it impossible to sit still in my chair while listening to his work.

I would have loved to have embedded one of his video’s into this post, but have not been able to reach the right person to get permission to do so, therefore, I am going to link to a couple of sites where I encourage you to give his music a listen. The first being one which contains a video of his April 1, 2007 performance on Muse Isle (opens in new window, broadband connection pretty much required) When you find how much you enjoy his wonderful style and voice please visit his MySpace page.(open new window) Where you will find 4 more audio files for your listening enjoyment.

Without a doubt, I can recommend your taking the time to attend any of his live performances! It doesn’t matter whether in Second Life or if you are fortunate enough to catch one of his live shows! This Gentleman has true Talent!

I give Kelvinblue Oh as high a rating as can be given.
