Kicking it with Kicks

Kicks is another DirectX 9 based MMO which is very reminiscent of Freestyle Street Basketball. All the controls are very similar as are the graphics.

What’s interesting is … well, how similar it comes to FSB. The whole game mechanics seemed purely the same and even the buying of skill sets reek of the same developer. If it wasn’t the same developer behind both games, I would probably scream that there was some IP infraction.

Some of the more interesting things is that you have all sorts of finishing moves that can be achieved called Ceremonies. Basically, this is where they do little dances, or a “in your face” type of move after scoring a goal.

Gotta love soccer. Or what the Europeans call football. Either way, if you’re hankering for a little bit of foot action against some other street soccer fans online, you won’t be disappointed. Not for something that’s free anyways.
