Hi Beth,
Thanks for stopping by. My context... ummm...uhhh...ahhh... I guess that is a good question.

Let me see if you will allow me to answer this way. Beth, I am a simple country boy with Native American beliefs. Yes, I have a bit of that blood running through my veins -- basically I guess you can say I am pretty much fanatic about personal freedoms with a strong concern for the environment (Mother Earth), and a belief that with factual information and exchange between individuals, who will actually listen open-mindedly, the world would become a more understanding and peaceful place.

My interest in Second Life... I think... Standing on the sharp edge of a historical event. I am fascinated at how easily the mind fills in cognitive information to allow such a sense of "Real". I am not the greatest builder, scripter, promoter, or writer, but I enjoy attempting to write.

Now the MacArthur Foundation... I had never even heard of before a couple of days ago, (that may not be exactly accurate)but I wanted to listen to what their interest in Second Life was... and attended the discussion. I found myself impressed as I researched the MacArthur Foundation and realized that, at least on the surface, we had some important goals in common.

No I do not work with any nonprofits in Second Life, but that may be about to change. We will see...

Now would you tell me... are you an extremely early riser or a vampire? :-) (4:54 am e)

Harold

Hi there,

Great write up! I can type fast and I do seem to think through my fingers.

I'm just curious what you context is .. and your interest in the MacArthur Foundation and Second Life. Do you work with any nonprofits who are in Second Life?
