My Mini Life
Interesting little MMORPG. If you could call it that. Running on PHP and Flash, it’s basically a miniscule version of a virtual life sim. In fact, it’s so small that you can design your mini-homes and such, but that’s pretty much it. From what I could tell, you just build your little man, then you build your home, then you go cruising in other people’s homes and rate them. I truly didn’t see a point to it all and got bored when my guy was non-detailed and moved awfully slowly for a Flash game that was so limited.

To gauge interest from this, it would have been nice to see this be a little more flushed out. My personal opinion would have been to see something similar to when you first start out in Katamari Damacy where everything is larger than you in a comparative scale. That would have been neat to actually have housing that was tucked away and you were afraid to get attacked by giant rodents.
The current standing of this game, it allows you to customize your little avatar (minime), customize your home (minihome), and had a social networking type of “friends” list (what? not called mini friends?) where you could send and leave messages along with a rating board of people’s homes. It also allowed you to embed these homes right into a website which I suppose was to allow you to check up on your house at all times of day. Not really sure.
In fact, that’s not a bad idea to grow out at all. But as My Mini Life stands currently, it was rather boring for myself. The load time was pretty icky andI just didn’t get a great overall impression. There just wasn’t enough to do. Maybe you’ll have better luck than I.

I’d label this more MMO than MMORPG. Where is the game element anyway, spending too much on somebody’s virtual porche? I signed up for this a week ago and had much the same experience as yours. Never got the confirmation email come to think of it, so it won’t even let me back into the site now.
My ‘MiniHome’ is here:
