Bashing the Linden Labs team is a popular pastime for many Second Life residents, but today I’m calling out two Lindens who solved a nagging problem for me: Twilight Linden and Nicole Linden.

It all started when I requested a 12avatars.com calendar from a vendor kiosk in someone’s clothing store. It delivered one copy of the calendar .. and then another … and another .. and another and another and another and another …. one calendar every 20 seconds for two days! Muting the calendar, the kiosk, the 12avatars.com calendar repository didn’t help. I shot off emails to the 12avatars company and the SL resident who was named in the delivery, then opened a trouble ticket through the support portal. (And if I forgot something, somebody tell me!)

Having done all that, I sat back and sighed, figuring the problem was going to go for at least three weeks until I heard back from support and expecting nothing. To my surprise, I heard from both next Lindens the next evening. Nicole Linden was able to figure out the problem and fix it (script running wild) and both she and Twilight stayed in touch until I could confirm that the problem had gone away.

If you want to see the 12avatars.com calendar that started the whole thing — one lovely SL female resident for each month of the year — I suggest going to the interactive marketing agency’s island and clicking one of the kiosks there.

Here’s what it looks like:
