We split the revenue earned from this blog based on the number of posts/activity from the various VTOR authors and all monies are paid in the Linden dollar. The following are the figures compiled for October 2007.

Based on a total of 21 posts and after site expenses the VTOR blog earned in October 2007: $68.83 USD (exchanged at L$268 per $1USD) for a total of: L$17,600. Our group elected to put L$500 or 5%, whichever is greater each month into a promotional fund which equals this month’s contribution: L$799 and a total promotional balance of: L$2,182.

2007 VTOReality Halloween Avatar Contest

The promo fund was adjusted by an expense of L$3,100 for the 2007 Halloween Avatar Contest. Subtracting that from the total the amount to be split among VTOR authors who posted in September 2007 makes the total L$16,801.

    pretty hardcore to calculate all that but it sounds a fair way of handling it. I just found this blog and I’m really into online games and virtual reality. Do you focus mostly on Second Life or all genres?
