ProjectHamad group now in SL

I have set up a ProjectHamad group in SL, which is free to join and supports the work of ProjectHamad. Search for ProjectHamad in groups, by clicking search at the bottom of the screen, choosing the groups tab in the search window, and then typing in ProjectHamad in the search box. I am now wearing fetching ProjectHamad sandwich boards which deliver a notecard and poster when clicked, and busy sending invitations to my friends and acquaintances asking them to join.

I have been wondering overnight how I would feel if a member of my family had been kidnapped and taken to a foreign country to be held without trial. It seems completely unbelievable that any country behaving in this way could claim to be civilized, let alone try to dictate to the rest of the world how to have democracy and freedom.

Second Life residents have restored my faith in human beings over the past three years as they are consistently generous, kind, and concerned for their fellow beings in my experience. If the ProjectHamad campaign doesn’t move them to action, I shall be very surprised.
