None of our teens care for Second Life and the teen grid. It's harder to make money there as there aren't a lot of L$ floating around like there are on the main grid. They'd rather do other games like WoW, Everquest or Runescape.

Well the whole idea of something being worthless is in the eye of the beholder. If I am doing something which I find fun and for some reason I can not do that ever again then all that time is not worthless to me. If I am working at a terrible job and I can no longer work at the job I hated then that would be a worthless time in my life. I love playing games, exploring virtual worlds and programming. If I can't do any of those anymore I will still look back on that time as a fun time. I would just have to find something else I find fun.

I introduced Second Life to my nephew but he isn't having fun in the teen world. He likes to shoot people and put them in cages. He is waiting for the day he can enter the main world so he can play all the games I play. I also introduced it to my best friend but she hasn't logged back in for months. I did mention all the businesses and events which are happening in SL and she was a bit more interested in that. But I did get her hooked on Runescape this month. :)
