Convinceme.net debate: Real Life vs. Second Life

While reviewing the debate site ConvinceMe.net recently I created an open debate with Real Life vs. Second Life. Meant more for comedic value than seriousness, it’s fun to see the “arguments” that follow, particularly the first one from tsm26:

I personally like the much higher polygon count in the real world.

There’s a complaint about the Mac version of Second Life and a rebuttal saying to get a “decent computer.”

Good to see folks joining in and keeping things lighthearted. By posting here, I’m probably stacking the deck (a wee bit?) against Real Life, but too bad, go ahead and get over there and register your virtual conscience vote. Being the creator of the debate, I’m not allowed to vote, but if I was you know I’d be all over Second Life.

Then again I’m writing this during the second half of the Superbowl with throat lubed by a couple Budweisers … ;)
