All Safe Casinos

First look

Upon visiting allsafecasinos.com you are presented with a clean looking page… or is it? Within the first 3 seconds I could see it’s a link site and in my impression probably all affiliate links. I wanted to turn away. But for a fair shake I continued on.

One of the first things I noticed was the less than bolded

*Online Gambling is illegal in some jurisdictions - please check your local laws. This site is for information purposes only.

This sent me on a chase around the net to see what I could find about my state. Since the SAFE Port Act was enacted in 9/30/06 I’ve been Leery to even look at these types of sites. After an extensive search I still didn’t find the answer if it’s legal in my home state. I would recommend any reader to be cautious with this, and Check your local laws.

Trying out the links

As suspected, 99% of the links are affiliate sign up links. They take you to sign up pages to sign up for accounts at various online casino and casino gaming sites. Most of which offered some type of sign up bonus such as matching a percentage of what you deposit.

A few of the links simply present reviews of the online sites.

Game PlayThere is a small percent of free games. They are in flash by design. Most of which I could only get to work using Internet Explorer. The nice thing is that there were no popups. They include a banner at the top of the game window for the casino offering the demo game of your choice. The demo give you a predetermined set of play credits. I actually spend a good hour playing around with the various slots, video poker, and blackjack. The games included sounds to that of actual casino games. Some including casino background noise. (Other slots, and crowd) Game play seemed smooth and there were no issues.

All in all the site is pretty much what you expect it is at first glance, a referral/ affiliate link page. I’m not quite sure whats “safe” about the site at all. They may be registered in Arizona but what if I’m in Washington state where online gambling is is a Class C felony? At the same time I don’t think I would trust my freedom (ie staying out of jail) from a link page. I haven’t even seen the casinos themselves let you know this. It would be nice the site provided you direct information to you if online gambling is even allowed in your state.

In the end I think all “safe” should do a better service to visitors to indicate just what exactly is “safe” about their site.
