First Look client available today called Second Life Windlight makes the water and wind prettier. The opening screen dawn sky looks impressive.

I was curious if it did anything for the snow as that’s kind of lifeless and dry. The VTOReality office is in a winter sim, Monti. Logging in, I checked it out.

Snow looks a little wetter, but the real beauty of this update is from the sky looking through clouds and in water.

Swimming through water looks a lot more realistic.

While all these graphic enhancements are a nice touch, I’m still waiting for the ability to run our own SL servers. This might create some prettier virtual picture shows.
