I haven’t been working on Nemesis much for the last few months, because we have been busy building elsewhere, and in any case, we’re planning a redesign of the sim. I have been playing with sculpties, and making a few new things for the shop, and over the weekend Oclee did too - this fantastic cabinet. I know I am biassed, but it is really fantastic. It has opening doors, which are linked to the object, so you don’t have to mess around with doors that drop off the object the moment you move it about.

I love it, and I am glad that he has at long last got around to putting a few more of his things into the shop on Nemesis. He’s also put out the chair and footstool he has made based on the Alvar Aalto Chair 42 design.

He decided to offer the Nemesis champagne as a freebie to people who come to the shop to see the cabinet. As I hope you will agree, the champagne is a cut above most drinks in SL. It has a bottle which opens with a pop of the cork, and then hands out 10 glasses of superior champagne when people click the open bottle.

The glass is great, with custom particles and texturing by Oclee, and a great sipping animation by Craig Altman. All in all I hope you’ll agree it’s a good freebie.
