Please excuse this virtual world interruption, this seems like a good time to reuse the planet of the SLapes graphic:

Yes, we're having a few RSS feed problems

Don’t think I’m stepping out on a limb saying that our group doesn’t like partial RSS feeds and I know a lot of others hate them. Some hate them so much that on sight they unsubscribe.

Yesterday Weirdharold and others alerted me to several RSS feed problems we’re having here at VTOR including assorted error messages and I received partial feeds in my reader this morning. I think we might have some plugin incompatibilities to work out with the new version of Wordpress (2.2x) and I wanted to send a quick note down the line that if you received partial RSS feeds or have had trouble recently receiving the RSS feed period we’re aware of the problem and are working on it.

Just to clarify: The correct VTOR RSS feed you should be able to subscribe to and receive in your RSS reader of choice (Google Reader, Bloglines, etc) should be a full feed with all images and text. We haven’t made any decision — and aren’t even contemplating — to change from full feeds to partial feeds. Even if we ever did that is something we’d share with readers in a post before making the change.

I wanted to open this post so that VTOR readers could communicate with us specifically about this issue. Please take a second and let us know if you are receiving the VTOR feed as a full feed below. Thank you for your help and patience.
