Todays Live Music in Second Live
In this article each of the blue underlined areas will link you to a page that will open up your second Life client and allow you to transport into that location.
Today seems to be a banner day to be able to enjoy live music inside Second Life. The first Live performance seems to be starting at 1:00 (SLT) at the Lily Pad featuring Danny Zinner performing pop, rock, and acoustic guitar. At the time of this writting I have been unable to find anything more about Danny Zinner, so if any of you are able to make the performance at the Lily Pad or have caught any previous performance featuring Danny… Please fill us in by leaving a comment in the comment section of this post.
Also at 1:00 (slt) at the Dublin Live Music Showcase Cylindrian Rutabaga will be preforming Original Soul Folk using her Vocal, acoustic, and keyboard talent. Cylindrian aka Grace is a singer- songwriter from the Atlanta, Georgia area who writes her own lyrics, songs and arrangements… She is formally trained in classical and contemporary piano and vocal, but has added the guitar about 8 years ago. She believes that music should be” heartfelt, honest, personal, and draw on emotion”… yet it should be easy to understand. Her voice and musicianship are “strong, sophisticated and soaring” If you get a chance stop by and give her a listen.
The Hummingbird Cafe will be hosting WannaBea Moore and Melvin Took in
back to back performances beginning at 4:00 (slt) WannaBea More is from
the mid-western Unitid States and has been “intensely” playing the
guitar for about seven years. She jokingly calls her style “whiney
chick singer music” Her performance will include songs by Patty
Griffin, Kasey Chambers, Neil Young, Indigo Girls, and the Beatles.
Melvin Took aka Peter Greenstone is from Austin, Texas and performs an
eclectric mix of originals and cover pieces with overlapping sounds of
folk, rock, blues, and places beyound. Much of Melvin’s inspiration
comes from personal experience and observation of others turned
fiction.. set in the intimate atmosphere of the Hummingbird Cafe.
Konny Kembla is Live in concert on the Desire Stage on top of the Queen of Hearts Club at 4:00(slt) All I know about Konny is in the event listing which stated “The sweet tones and stylings of Konny Kembla>” Again we encourage you to leave a comment with anything else you may have on Konny Kembla.
Starting at 6:00(slt) Naked Acoustic Sessions are having an open mic… Artists will be announced in their Group messaging but new talent is usually found on open mic night.
Frogg Marlow and Jaycatt Nico will be raising a rowel at the Blarney Stone Irish Bar. They will be performing Original Folk, Blues, New Age, Boogie, and Jazz using Vocal, acoustic guitar, harmonica, and keyboard. Their performance begins a 6:00 (slt) and continues on to 8:00 (slt) There is always a good time to be had in Dublin.
I have attend a Louis Volare(aka Louis Landon) concert before and I wilL assure you that if you like to listen to the piano you will throughly enjoy his melodic, optimistic and peaceful concert. Louis is recently off a world wide tour and is pure pleasure to listen to his new age/classical/jazz styling’s. If you have an infinity for the piano take the time to make one of his concerts. or better yet pick up his 6th CD “UNWIND”. You can catch him tonight at Someplace Else at 7:00(slt)
Kim Seifert will be Live tonight at 7:00 (slt) at the Lily Pad performing Country Music. I understand Kim is a powerful female performer who will cater to your country needs.
Also tonight at 7:00 (slt) at The Cafe Bill and Pam Havercamp, an acoustic musical duo, will be performing soft classic rock (oldies from the 60’s, 70’s and beyond…. Beatles, Eagles, Momma and Poppa’s, Dire Straits, Rolling Stones tunes… You know… Music you can sing along with!
To the best of my abillity to tell that will pretty much wrap up the live performances for tonight n Second Life. I encourage you to catch a live performance in Second Life and don’t forget the Musicians make their way through Second Life off the Tips of your appreciation!
Once again I beg you to leave a comment if you have heard any of these musicians perform and give us your opinion on the performance. I will try to make as many live performances as I can, but new performers are sharing their talent at a level I am not able to keep up with!
