Any site can discount anything if they don't stock or support it, you just have to wait a lot longer to get it and hope nothing goes wrong after you have it. Linden labs does not profit from this and hoped to have all of the discount go directly to their community. But they sure are taking a huge advantage of their own residents who pay well enough money to Linden Labs. And why cant you not use your own set of headphones or separate Microphone and Speakers. That to me is being programmed on purpose so you will have to buy their product.
