WoW gold farmers getting creative

Blizzard has been combating gold sellers by restricting all of advertising. Even ourselves at VTOR have been ethically challenged by gold sellers in the past due to some advertising dollars that we were offered. So gold farmers have now resorted to creative methods of advertising such as using dead gnome bodies from a client-side hack to spell out domains where you could potentially purchase gold. There is apparently some conjecture that it might have been inspired by the above comic by Manic Graffiti.

Either way, gold selling in WoW is naughty naughty. And you shouldn’t involve yourself in it.  Definitely hard to do when you have to go places where no one has ever been to actually get super-rare items to do anything in WoW.  At least so I’m told.
