PSN is about to have one of the most interesting multiplayer games ever called Fat Princess. It’s both single player and multiplayer and apparently both offline and online. No one knows how the single player will run unless it has to do with the bots that run at all times. Basically, there will always be 32 “players” online in a game regardless of how many people are playing.

The goal is your basic multi-classed capture-the-flag game but the difference being that each time you spawn, you can choose a new class if you wish. The Fat Princess is the “flag” and the goal is to protect her and feed her a lot so that if the enemy happens to capture her? It’s more difficult to carry her back to the castle. Definitely a new way of thinking of capture-the-flag.

The game itself is a 2D on 3D base so it’s definitely one of those that could get really addictive really quickly. Definitely pretty jealous of all of those that got to cover this at E3. Will I be getting this? Probably as long as the price is right. It seems that PSN is finally getting some things that are worthy of taking on 360 Live. Keep them coming.
