Older Chinese World of Warcraft and Coke commercial
Amusingly enough, I ran across an older commercial while looking through a photographer’s website. This is with the Taiwanese girl group, S.H.E where they take on a recording label’s fat cat and basically they zap off into the WoW world where they gang up on the troll from the Horde.
I couldn’t help myself but laugh when I saw that since it had to be one of those crazy Asian commercials that … only could be done in Taiwan or Hong Kong, and … only could tie two absolutely and completely different things by using a musical group and a MMORPG together. S.H.E is actually pretty popular internationally with the young Asian demographic and they compete against the Twins out of Hong Kong.
Either way, it’s pretty amusing twist on the virtual world alongside reality in a commercial format.

In diesem Zusammenhang habe ich über VTOR einen Blizzard-Spot gefunden, der aus deutscher Sicht sehr exotisch wirken magt. Wäre da nicht nur das Co-Branding mit Coca Cola, sondern auch die Tatsache, dass die in Tawain populäre Girlgroup S.H.E hierbei kräftig die Werbetrommel rührt.
