What’s up with this Nintendo DSi?
I really don’t get it. What’s the big deal about the Nintendo DSi? So you can browse a little more on the web, and there’s some more connectivity. So there’s a camera. Whoopdeedoo. From what I can tell, it just looks like a DS with an internal webcam. And they want to extract more money from the consumer for this?
I suppose there are a couple games that they could create with cams similar to PS3 Eyecam like Eye of Judgment. And I suppose the integration could come in handy somewhere.
But adding a camera or even two cameras doesn’t really make the DSi special. It’s now more slim due to the GBA cartridge removal and will include internal memory and browser. It also has some bigger screens. Also has some better speakers and a different power button than the power switch.
Maybe it’s just me, but I just don’t For the price of admission, I’ll just stick with the Lite. Coming to you in 2009.
