Fat Princess Greases In For Summer

Not really having any nostalgic value from old roms, most of the remakes of games old don’t really have any place in my heart. So much of the downloadable content really strikes a chord when it’s new and fresh. While Fat Princess doesn’t have a entirely new idea behind it (CTF) it’s actually pretty unique and cell-shaded where you could really get into it for that mere $10USD or whatever the price may be. Definitely an impulse buy.

So when I first heard about the game, I was rather excited that there was something out there that was somewhat unique and perhaps would tempt my fancy. Then it was delayed. Now again, there is a release date set for the summer, and finally some dates that might actually coincide with what was heard at GDC. It seems that the Kiwis are officially getting it on June 18th.

Here’s to hoping that the United States gets lucky with that simultaneous release. I mean, come on… what better way to spend say $10USD and stay indoors in the much nicer A/C environment playing Fat Princess instead of going out into the smoldering heat for barbeques and fun things like mowing the lawn? You know you’d much rather stay inside with your PS3.
